Microsoft is our country choice!!!
December 21st, 2006, 0 KomentarWhat i can say, it’s so dissapointed for me, and i think for all Indonesian Open Source activist. Our beloved country, has been betrayed by our government, MoU that signed with big greedy giant software company, Microsoft. Indonesia Go Open Source (IGOS) that ever mention, just like other “lips service” that usually our government say.
The MoU that signed after deal that didn’t involve other company, even IGOS team, Indonesian people that volenteers their self to support the government to open sourced their administration, but what we can say? the government betray the IGOS team, the government betray their people.
Here what our minister of communication & information say to Detikinet:
———–
“Masalah pembayaran juga tidak menjadi masalah, apakah negara harus membayar atau bahkan mendapat hibah dari Amerika” (Detikinet, source link included below)
“There is no problem with payment, it’s our country must pay or fund from America” (Detikinet, source link included below)
———–
Maybe it’s ok if we have much money, No, we don’t have money that much. Shame on us, if we can pay that, we pay it from debt. Debt from rich country. Even when the other country, the richer country than us choose the Open Source as their choice, our goverment choose the prioperty software that must pay much with the money that we don’t have.
Well, this post just my point of view, even this is not my opinion. I can’t, to humilliate for me.
